Spox calls PM Medvedev corruption claims pre-election propaganda

MOSCOW, Mar 2 (PRIME) -- An investigation into alleged corruption of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev by a fund led by oppositional activist Alexei Navalny is part of the election campaign and propaganda, spokeswoman for Medvedev Natalya Timakova told PRIME on Thursday.

“The material by Navalny is of a markedly pre-election nature, he says it himself at the end of the video. Commenting on propagandistic remarks by an oppositional creature and a convict, who has already said that he leads some sort of election campaign and fights the authorities, is pointless,” Timakova said.
